Why! It's for Kids.

The museum is celebrating the new year by opening the doors to more activities for our youngest visitors. From 9th February 2008 the children's workshop, Teponia, will be open during weekends and on holidays.

The Bashful Genius

B = yX/x! / (1 + y + y2/2! + y3/3! +...+ yX/x!) Such a formula is likely to put most of us out of breath, but not the mathematician Agner Krarup Erlang. Erlang led a quiet, obscure life, but his work was revolutionary and obtained international recognition. This year it is 90 years since he as one of our greatest mathematic geniuses presented the formula that became the precondition of modern traffic theory.

Mobile telephony has in every way changed beyond recognition since the first mobile network opened to a few thousand users in Denmark in 1982. Post & Tele Museum are collecting and presenting the users' stories in a coming exhibition.
